Wildwood on the Lake - Video Tour and Photo Gallery
You scream, I scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM! A short walk from the wildwood without crossing any roads is Mountain Mist. Soft Serve Vanilla, Chocolate or a twist...then you might fancy flavor of the day! Sprinkles, dips, shakes and floats. Can you ever eat too much ice cream on vacation?
The Fyfe Family. 3 generations and 50 years later, they've been coming longer than the Weber's have owned it!
Not always this many kids around in one spot! Weber's 5th birthday gathering
The longest surving snowman in the 2011-12 winter season. With a dusting of snow the family from Trinidad and Tobago built this 5' snowman...we transferred him to the main building
Special creations can be left on the beach for days and days. This duck carving was beautiful
The very green frog was here for weeks before someone kissed him and he turned into a prince!
After a tough sledding and skating afternoon, pose for pictures and our website!
The nightly fires during the summer can make you feel like you are at camp. S'mores are great to get the conversation going with our overseas guests who have never tried them.
The Weber Family will be happy to accept images you feel would compliment our website galleries. All our images have been captured by family, friends and guests of the Wildwood and are intended to give you a sense and a feel of our property. We hope to see you soon in Lake Placid and of course with us!

One Direction's Wildwood connection.. So you're looking for something cool to tell your kids about where you're going to stay when the connect to a Winter Olympics isn't working...Have them watch Lake Placid's answer to PSY's Gangnam Style video! The British Boy Band shot their first ever in Lake Placid and Plattsburgh...over 141 million hits later, at the 1 minute mark you can see our red scooter ridden by lead singer Harry who we showed how to ride it! In the summer/fall you can take the train that's in the video and if you ask nicely, just like Brenna McAnanama of Agawan, MA did, we'll grab the very helmet Harry wore and the Vespa for your own 1D photo!
DID YOU KNOW...BEFORE THEY WERE MASSIVE THEY WERE HERE IN LAKE PLACID!
Growing up Wildwood is fun, especially when you live here!
Our lake front with copious amount of furniture is one of the hot quiet spots!
Sand is so much fun, even when you are buried in it!
Wildlife on the lake can be guaranteed just not always this close. One quiet morning this Blue Heron decided to fish from our lawn.
New Years Eve 2010...Late night Frosty?
Transported to the main building for photo opportunities and "Think Snow" campaign, Frosty last over 4 months!
Built by Team Dingo from Australia, Weber poses and looks to the sky for more snow. There is no such thing as ordinary snow in Lake Placid.
The Aitchison Family came from New Jersey after suffering flooding from Hurricane Sandy. They enjoyed their getaway and we the company...and the beautiful snowman.
